Criniti's is looking for dynamic, fun, hardworking and charismatic hospitality Wait Staff member, you may start from the position of runner, working quickly to waitstaff professional. There will be constant learnings in front of house, bar, and customer service task to order taker. You will be representing the face of the company, you must have a strong customer focus in all tasks, ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be working closely with the restaurant Venue Manager and Bar staff, as well as back of house staff/chefs. Your responsibilities will be not limited to those items described below.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Ensure adherence to company policy and procedures in regard to the reliability, punctuality, efficiency and smooth functioning of the restaurant.
- Create smooth, efficient, happy and informative experience for customers
- Prepare tables for customers, greet all customers coming to restaurants and present menu to customers and administer orders for all.
- Understand and expand knowledge on available items on menu and side dishes and ensure optimal level of services to customers.
- Assist customers to select appropriate side dishes and drinks and communicate any special requirement of staff to kitchen.
- Ensure appropriate record of customer orders to ensure no billing discrepancies.
- Provide assistance and administer all cleaning as per cleaning schedule.
- Develop and maintain a friendly relationship with regular patrons of the restaurant.
- Manage and ensure appropriate resolution of all customer queries.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and customers and ensure timely delivery of all services.
- Serve a complete course of order to customers including salad, drinks and main course. Assist customers to select extra replenishment after meal.
- Perform all basic activities in restaurant and ensure compliance to Criniti’s standards at all times
- Filling in for absent staff as needed; assisting with special events

Knowledge, Qualifications, Languages, Skills & Attributes: Relevant Qualification or extensive experience
- Hands-on experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality environment
- RSA certified
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverages
- Is approachable and tolerant
- Professional presentation and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all level of the organisation
- Understanding of laws as they relate to the organisation, in particular, the Liquor Act, the Responsible Service of Alcohol program, Industrial Relations laws and WH&S laws
