To Business Area Segment Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions (SMF) finance team, we’re currently looking for a young finance professional with an eagerness to progress in your career. About your job
In this position, you ensure timely reporting of performance, forecasts and targets while supporting the operations with analysis, advice, and tools to optimize performance. You prepare financial information for many different stakeholders including SMF management team and Group Business Control. You’re also part of the team setting financial targets, prioritizing what activities we should focus on, and are involved in both planning and execution. As part of our growth ambition, which includes M&As, you might be involved in these processes and the following integration of acquired companies. To succeed, you set clear expectations and solid structures – collaborating closely with colleagues from other parts of Sandvik community, members in SMF management team and Sandvik Group Finance.
The location for this position is at our site Gasverket in Stockholm.
About you
We’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn more about business analysis and performance management. You have good knowledge of accounting and are an excellent Excel user – this shared with your analytical and structured features are a winning combination for this role. As a person, you’re flexible and a good communicator as well as an excellent team player who easily connects with people you encounter. Higher education in finance or business is a must. If you also have a background consisting of business control or audit it's beneficial, as well as knowledge in IFRS. Working in a global context calls for great English skills, while knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
