Cloud Lead Engineer
Main Responsibilities
- Accountable for designing, building and optimize cloud-native, hybrid, or multi-cloud solutions to meet the company's needs
- Propose suggestions and best practices to optimize company's cloud presence, performance, security, and cost
- Advise on leading cloud practices and architectural approaches for cloud adoption
- Develop relationships with key company's stakeholders responsible for digital and architecture strategy
Ideal Background
- Should possess at least 5 years of work experience as a Cloud Engineer.
- A Cloud Lead Engineer should have a master’s in Computer Science or any other field
- The Cloud Lead Engineer role should possess excellent communication skills, which is essential to execute his duty to the juniors in the team. Having excellent communication skills will ensure that information is conveyed clearly, which in turn determines the team’s performance.
- Design, build and maintain large scale high performing, secure Kubernetes and other application platform infrastructure on AWS
- AWS Cloud certifications preferred. Azure and Google Cloud certifications would be a plus
- AWS Cloud certifications preferred. Azure and Google Cloud certifications would be a plus
- Familiarity with cloud concepts (VPC, EC2, RDS, VPN, Transit Gateway, S3, Security, etc.)
- Experience of deploying Infrastructure as Code (Cloudformation and Terraform)
- Experience with observability tools such as Instana, Datadog APM, or equivalent (preferred)
- The candidates should also possess experience in the software development process and tools and languages like Python, Java/Spring Boot, MongoDB, Shell scripting, Python, PostgreSQL, and Git.
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Lead, coach and grow our local cloud architects’ team
- Fluency in English language
