VP Commercial [Germany]


 
As the VP Commercial, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and overseeing all commercial operations of the company. You will lead the sales and marketing teams, as well as collaborate with other departments to develop and execute business strategies that increase profitability and expand the customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives
  • Build and manage the sales team ensuring they are meeting their targets and KPIs
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that generate leads and drive sales
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners, and identify new business opportunities
  • Provide input into product development, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans
  • Build and maintain a high-performing culture, attracting, developing and retaining talent within the commercial team
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and product, to ensure alignment and effective execution of the commercial strategy.

Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in commercial roles, with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving growth in a SaaS environment. This should include experience in sales and marketing, as well as a deep understanding of the SaaS industry and its unique challenges
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing commercial teams, with a focus on coaching and developing team members
  • Strategic thinking: A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives of the company
  • Customer focus: A customer-centric approach with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners, and identify new business opportunities. The candidate should have experience in monitoring customer feedback and working with the product development team to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded
