Position Overview

The role involves premium reconciliations and month end activities, organising sales reports, and preparing underwriters’ bordereaux statements.

Qualifications and Training

  • Have at least two years plus accounts experience

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to:

  • Reconciling reports including sales premiums
  • Posting sales and purchase invoices
  • Posting and reconciling bank statements
  • Accounts receivable
  • Preparing commission payment files and Direct Debit collection files on Eazy/EFT
  • Preparing Underwriter returns
  • Dealing with call centre queries and processing payments/refunds on
  • Global Payments
  • Preparation of general journals monthly
  • Monitor Chargebacks - to keep track of the payment amounts that are returned to a debit or credit card, after a customer disputed the transaction

Skills:

  • Possess strong MS office skills particularly with Excel
  • Be a team player with ability to work on your own initiative
  • Possess fluent English – both written and orally
  • Possess strong analytical and organisational abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
  • Good attention to detail
