Manpower Permanent Placement agency is recruiting for one of its clients, a prestigious European structure, a Head of Economic and Market Analysis, M/F/X for managing diverse and multicultural teams .

Location: Luxembourg Kirchberg

Type of contract: fixed – term contract for 5 years with possible extension

Yours tasks

• Meet company goals as a crisis resolution and prevention unit by developing and executing euro area macroeconomic and financial analysis, focusing on risk management.
• Ensure top-quality work on economic and financial matters, maintaining necessary skills and motivation for providing financial help to crisis-stricken countries and overseeing their repayment capability.
• Establish and maintain the necessary tools for the division's functions. Identify research priorities related to economic stability and crisis management and foster academic outreach.
• Offer strategic and analytical support to the company's financial functions, participating actively in strategic committees, and building connections between macrofinancial analysis and market intelligence.
• Advise on economic and financial policies, facilitate public communication, and ensure timely delivery of tasks including reports and policy papers.
• Enhance relationships with peer institutions, national authorities, academics, and private sector entities in relevant areas.
• Manage and develop the team inclusively, aligned with company values, to maintain professionalism and engagement.

Your profile

• PhD or master’s degree, preferably in economics or finance
• At least 15 years of relevant professional experience in economic and financial market analysis and research
• At least five years of professional experience with a proven track record in managing diverse and multicultural teams
• Fluent English (oral and written); fluency in at least one other euro area language is desirable Critical, strategic and innovative thinking
• Leadership and management
• Capacity to develop self and others
• Presentation skills, Intellectual curiosity. Analytical and problem-solving skills
