Kitchen Porter Opportunity at the 4* Court Yard Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare.
The Court Yard Hotel is currently seeking to recruit a Kitchen Porter to join their professional and highly skilled kitchen team. If you have the relevant experience and would like to develop your career within a busy hotel kitchen we could have an excellent opportunity for you.
The Role:
We currently have a full-time position available, working 40 hours per week - 5 days over 7 to include weekends and public holidays. The position will require the individual to be flexible in their roster availability and must be available to work early and late shifts.
Main Duties:
- Manage the wash up section of the kitchen.
- HACCP duties.
- General kitchen hygiene/cleanliness.
- Working with the chefs in ensuring the highest level of cleanliness.
- Providing a high level of customer service at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable although not essential as training can be given.
- HACCP training is desirable although full training can be given.
- Must be fluent in the English Language both written and spoken.
- Must be enthusiastic and a quick learner.
- Must be able to multi-task and be willing to help out where required in all areas of the kitchen.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Excellent people skills.
- Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Must be available for early starts and late finishes.
