WO Internship - HR Unite – Global Change Management Support [Netherlands]


 

The opportunity
ING is looking to recruit a WO intern in the HR Unite team, who supports the team in landing the change coming from the implementation of the HR Unite programme.

ING with its Accelerate Think Forward strategy and COO vision is to become the Next Generation Digital Bank. The HR vision is building the capability and the engagement of our people, for the bank to deliver on its purpose and strategy.

HR unite will enable this strategy by standardizing processes and implementing a unified Target Operating Model within the global HR organization, by rolling out a global HR system, Workday, in all ING countries and establishing a captive Global People Services Shared Services organisation. Our overarching goal is to deliver best practice people services, systems and processes: simple, efficient and common across the entire organization.

The team
You will be part of the HR Unite team, supporting the global Change Management Lead. Amongst others you will work closely together with the Change Management network and the local Change Management Leads, as well as our colleagues in Global People Services.

Within People Services the HR unite Central team is responsible for a successful implementation of the overall HR unite Programme and provides overall programme management and PMO expertise to the HR unite Programme. Next to that the central teams drives the Change Management and X-project topics like integrated testing and cutover.

Roles and responsibilities
As HR Unite Change Management support, you will support in creating and delivering the Change & training strategy coming from the HR Unite implementation. Our key challenge is to navigate between a global programme team and local/regional setups with different countries and drive, in a consistent manner, the delivery of HR unite whereby we always look for synergies in processes, change products, people and tools.


Amongst others, your responsibilities entail:

  • Working closely together with the HR Unite Change Management Lead, the global HR unite program office and local Change Management Leads on a daily basis
  • Translating/aligning the global change approach with the local country needs’ which includes supporting local change impact and business readiness assessments, including pulse surveys, focus groups and desktop analysis
  • Updating and executing on the global Change & Communications plan
  • Driving the measurement approach, analysing the data and drawing conclusions and recommendations for the further change support
  • Content development and support for leadership alignment activities
  • Keeping the HR Unite Change Network engaged.
  • Develop and maintain the training curriculum and coordinate with the CoE Workday the situations of:
  • Workday upgrades
  • Process changes
  • Service delivery platform changes
  • And anything else you deem relevant or interesting!

  • You are a MSc Student, preferably Behavioral Sciences, Psychology or Communications
  • You are hands on, know how to get things done.
  • You are a good networker and are able to communicate with various levels throughout the organization.
  • You have experience in project management/change management, preferably in an international environment
  • Attention to details without losing bigger picture
