We are looking for a Commercial BDM/Account Executive to join our team. If you possess the drive, competitiveness, and a history of success in Sales, we want to hear from you. This role is an exciting opportunity to work with mid-market & Enterprise level clients (with a workforce of 500 or more) on tailoring Zoom services to meet their video, phone, and online meeting needs.
Working in a defined territory, you will proactively engage with targeted companies, as well as follow up and close on various lead sources. You will be selling communication & collaboration products across our AI powered platform - including video meetings, phone, chat, whiteboard, customer experience, employee experience and more.
Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed sales and product objectives, setting new records of achievement.
Skillfully assess leads and discern prospect requirements, collaborating with technical resources as necessary.
Craft compelling client demonstrations, presentations, quotes, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
Initiate high-level conversations with C-Level and VP-Level Executives to address their unique business needs.
Apply solution-selling techniques to guide the sales process to a successful close.
Navigate complex sales situations and campaign strategies with expertise.
Capitalize on opportunities for upselling and harnessing the potential of new customer relationships.
Leverage Salesforce CRM to maintain precise sales activity tracking and status updates.
Strategically collaborate with management to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities and challenges, and provide recommended solutions.
Predict sales activity and revenue achievements while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Resolve client concerns promptly and comprehensively, escalating issues to management as needed.
Stay informed about product offerings, competition, and industry trends that could impact client business activities.
Possessing strong Partner/Channel experience is an asset.
Basic Skill Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience in a SaaS/Cloud environment
Experience of selling to the ANZ market, ideally at mid-market level or higher
Demonstrated ability to initiate new accounts and expertly manage complex sales situations and large-scale projects.
Referenceable acquisition experience, with the ability to identify prospects using tools like Navigator, ZoomInfo, ASX, etc
Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to craft relevant and strategic messaging
Proficiency in social media platforms like LinkedIn
Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in business forecasting, pipeline development, and management
A track record of closed sales, client satisfaction, and effective teamwork
Strong verbal skills with a consultative professional business acumen
Detail-oriented, organized, ethical, responsible, and self-motivated.
Strong internet research skills and excellent PC literacy in Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skill Requirements:
Experience of selling Contact Centre, Telephony and related services would be advantageous however not necessary
Salesforce CRM experience preferred
BA/ BS or equivalent experience
