The Role

The successful candidate is responsible to achieve the financial goals by managing and developing the business within the assigned group of customers or key accounts. Strong selling, negotiation and relationship building skills, the candidate will work with internal support teams to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term account goals in line with company business strategy.

In this role you will be responsible for developing and effectively implementing key account plans as part of a team, which will enable delivery of sustained growth across both our allergy and autoimmunity business. Seeking new opportunities to gain incremental business by adding extra tests onto existing Phadia™ instruments within existing accounts and converting competitor accounts.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain, develop and grow Autoimmune and Allergy Market as per agreed targets
  • Develop and successfully implement account plans alongside marketing and technical services team
  • Complete sophisticated pricing proposals to include instruments and assays from quotation through to contract signature and lead contractual agreements
  • Actively participate in forecasting and planning activities
  • Develop and engage with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Feedback market intelligence to Sales Manager, Marketing and Finance as required
  • Communicate effectively with all parts of the organization
  • Own the Tender response, working with the Tender Manager and internal colleagues and engaging with primary managed service providers (MSP’s)
  • Ensure compliance with internal Quality Processes and CRM (eg SFDC)
  • Customer facing role with expectation that majority of time will be spent with customers
  • Attend internal & external meetings and events as required
  • Manage evolving customer base including lab managers, procurement, clinicians, commissioners

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Life Sciences
  • Laboratory background - desirable
  • Relevant Sales Experiences and/or product Portfolio experiences
  • Commercial approach to build and develop customer relations and close sales
  • Winning Together’ partnership skills
  • Listen actively, communicate openly, build trust
  • Flexible, self-motivated and good interpersonal skills
  • Passionate professional with a ‘Can Do’ attitude
  • Experience with analytics and data
  • Understanding business development with strong selling skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – excel, Powerpoint and word
  • Seek continues development
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English - written and verbal
