Retail Operation Manager-In-Training [Malaysia]


 

The Retail Operation Manager-In-Training will oversee and coordinate all retail activities in an assigned region.

Retail Operation Manager-In-Training Responsibilities :

  • Hires and trains store managers.
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules, territories, and performance of store managers.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership to the assigned region, overseeing retail activities and stores.
  • Establish and maintain standard operation procedure for our retail stores.
  • Establish and conduct training for stores managers and stores assistants.
  • Traveling to different branches, offices and participating in daily operations as required.
  • Visit, audit and inspect different retail stores time to time and generate report regarding the situation.
  • Conduct stock take to all branches twice a year.
  • Reviews and analyses regional sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and to identify potential new markets.
  • Collaborates with store managers to develop sales goals for each location, monitors progress toward those goals, and develops strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Involve in developing marketing programs and promotions to increase sales and/or introduce new products and services.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in the store region; designs and implements training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize productivity and morale.
  • Schedules and directs regular sales meetings and events to share information, set and revise goals, and to increase morale.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop territories, sales quotas, and strategies.
  • Prepares and implements district-wide budget; monitors and approves expenses.
  • Maintains knowledge of market, competition, and best practices and trends in sales techniques and strategies.

· Participate in company’s strategic planning.

· Participating in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities.

· Traveling outstation with CEO, COO and managers for business trip.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Retail Operation Manager-In-Training Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management or similar/relevant degree.

- Experience in a same role or similar at least 1 years.

- Thorough understanding of company’s products and/or services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding market.

- Excellent time management skills.

- Must be able to regularly travel throughout region.

- Must be able to drive alone and has license D.
