仕事内容:
Nagoya International School is a not-for-profit International School. The community language is English and our students come from and move to schools and universities around the world. We have 420 students from over 30 different nationalities. Our staff is also diverse, coming from countries around the world.
This position will primarily be a 1:1 support role working with classroom teachers and special educators to provide direct in-class support to a student with identified special needs in the lower Elementary school. These duties will take about half of your time. The remainder of the time will be in general assistant teacher duties across the elementary school – supporting the teacher, duties, working with groups of students or individual students.

ESSENTIAL:
- Locally resident and able to commute to Nagoya on a daily basis from your residence
- The legal right to live and work in Japan
- Strong English language skills
- Some prior qualifications or experience working with children/young people or in schools/education
HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
- A teaching certification
- A degree
- Japanese language skills (or another additional language)
勤務時間・曜日:
- 7:30-16:30 (1 hr lunch break)
- Approximately 190 campus work days/year

アクセス:
Public "Yutorito" line buses travel from Ozone station and along an elevated, dedicated ramp, heading east towards the school. Buses leave "Ozone" roughly every 10 minutes for either "Nakashidami" (more frequent) or to "Kozoji". "Nakashidami" is the nearest stop to NIS, and is about at 10-15 minute walk to/from NIS. The bus leaves "Nakashidami" for "Ozone" about every 10 minutes. The cost for an adult (middle school or above) is 420 yen one way. (Approximate Bus Travel Time: 25-30 minutes/Walk Time: 10-15 minutes)
