Education: B.Sc Engineering (Electrical/Telecom/Computer Science)
Expertise: Minimum 2-3 years, experience of working in core switching Network/transmission (Fresh graduates may be considered).
Other skills:
- CCNA/CCNP certified
- Team work and Excellent communication
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring of power/hardware/Environmental Alarms
- Coordination with field staff of OFAN And NOD Field staff for different task and fault
rectification
- Ticket Monitoring and Closure with correct Cause Codes (MSAGs/Partial
Outage/GPON outage/Temp issues/Hardware issues)
- L3 support/coordination for hardware issues
- Partial Outage Reporting and resolution(Coordinating/Support for Spare Card from
vendor/Store/less loaded MSAGs.)
- To conduct analysis of cable cuts and taking measures to reduce total number of cuts.
- Ring completion of MSAGs to improve network availability.
- Opening of ticket with vendor.
- Closing of ticket at service manager.
- Cable cut restoration as per KPI & SLAs
- Fiber built-up for commissioning of MSAGs/corporate/carrier links
- Generation of daily, weekly, month reports related with cable cuts/low power issues
