Under the direction of the Respiratory Care Supervisor, incumbent is responsible for ordering, stocking, and maintaining the inventory of equipment and supplies of the Respiratory Care Services Department.

- Starts equipment and observes gauges measuring pressure, rate of flow, and continuity to test equipment, and notifies supervisor of malfunctions
- Examines equipment to detect worn tubes, loose connections, or other indications of disrepair, and notifies supervisor of need for maintenance
- Cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes equipment used in administration of respiratory therapy
- Delivers oxygen tanks and other equipment and supplies to specified hospital locations
- Assists in preparation and maintenance of inventory records
- Perform other related duties as necessary
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other incumbents of the organization
- Must be willing to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment
