Senior Analyst - Learning and Development [Saudi Arabia]

Position Summary

To understand learning and development requirements of employees and actively search, design and implement suitable solutions to enhance the knowledge, skills and competencies of employees and build a capable workforce.


Major Accountabilities

Learning and Development

  • Identify and update the behavioral and technical training needs and assist in the development of the annual training calendar to ensure continuous learning.
  • Build a network and managing learning partners including training vendors, universities, consultants, technology providers, content developers etc. to design blended learning solutions based on the needs.
  • Liaise with employees and managers to inform them of the various courses and programs available and advise them on selection of those that are most relevant.
  • Optimize the delivery of internal training to maximize impact while managing costs, taking into consideration training needs analysis, L&D budget and other related L&D programs.
  • Manage the roll out of trainings by planning and organizing the logistics, coordination, venue and supplies required for employee development and training events.
  • Monitor the department wise spend of the and regularly update the department heads about their training spend so as to ensure the overall training spend is within the defined budget.
  • Develop and maintain communications such as intranet / bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
  • Conduct follow up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results and modify programs as needed.
  • Keep abreast with the learning and development trends and best practices and embedding new programs in KAPSARC.

Graduate Program Coordination

  • Assist in the implementation of the Graduate Program including - facilitation of selection process, graduate trainee orientation, gathering feedback from graduates as well as their managers and coordinating with departments to ensure seamless execution and placements of graduates.

KAPSARC Employee Education Program

  • Assist in the facilitation of KEEP, ensuring proper implementation including, facilitation of selection process, administration of the benefit, record keeping and seamless execution in the transition and placement of employees post completion of the education.

Vendor Management

  • Liaise with external trainers or Talent Management vendors at a local / regional level to provide best in class training in line with international standards.
  • Measure and document the quality and effectiveness of training content, trainers, methods employed etc. in an objective manner and undertake actions, wherever needed, to further enhance the content to meet the needs of the business.

Training records and analytics

  • Maintain and update training records of all internal and external trainings along with details of the training, its evaluation, list of participants, feedback, facilitators, duration and costs, to ensure the data can be analyzed for continuous improvement and ROI.

Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures

  • Provide inputs to the design and implement policies, systems and procedure so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.

Reporting

  • Analyze the information and prepare reports and dashboards in a timely and accurate manner to meet the requirements, policies and quality standards.

Recommended Qualifications and Years of Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or any other related field with 2-5 years of experience.
  • Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration or any other related field with 0-3 years of experience.
