Basic Job Function:
This position assists in all areas of Production. See attachment.
Job must be performed on-site at Peerless Products Facilities.
Must always wear appropriate safety equipment.
Primary essential duties/responsibilities:
Getting material to the Saw Department in a timely manner.
Puts identifying markers on cradles for locating purposes.
Keeping cradles organized and aisle ways accessible.
Moving cradles from paint line to Thermal.
Other duties/responsibilities:
Help in different positions when instructed.
Excellent attendance.
Maintain a clean & safe work area/environment.
Knowledge and skills:
Demonstrated problem solving skills.
Ability to work with other departments.
Demonstrated computer skills.
Ability to read & understand shop drawings & blueprints.
Knowledge of window & trim configurations.
Knowledge of extrusion configurations.
Physical demands:
Lift 35-50lbs.
Stand, stretch arms above head, stoop, & bend on concrete floors.
Work at a fast pace.
Working conditions/environment:
Non-climate controlled work environment (hot in summer, cold in winter).
Concrete floors.
Some dirt & metal chips.
Some fumes from cleaning chemicals, welding processes, & paint.
