As a manager of Advanced Analytics Platforms & Tools, your mission is to make machine learning and data analysis accessible to data scientists, data engineers, data analysts and business managers. Working collaboratively with other parts of the technology and business organizations, this role is responsible for crafting the strategic technology vision and roadmap guiding the selection and definition of solutions enabling key business capabilities aligned with business objectives.

You will foster team member development in the context of a high-performing team consistently delivering business value and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth by shaping and driving the product strategy, features, and roadmap that focus on customer experience, user adoption, and operational excellence
  • Anticipate customers’ unmet or unknown needs and opportunities for enhancements or development of new products/services of multiple feature areas across divisional boundaries via quantitative (e.g., usage, telemetry) and qualitative analyses (e.g., customer usage, various listening systems, feedback channels of market and industry trends), and scope the impact and prioritization of a problem.
  • Passionately focused on the seamless deployment of technology solutions delivering an exceptionally engaging and efficient user experience.
  • Ensures alignment between the roadmap for the multiple features across divisional boundaries and Objective and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Coach and mentor, a team of technical product managers leading capability implementation on data and AI/ML platforms.
  • Plan future talent requirements to support technology strategy and delivery roadmaps. Identify required skills and determines approach to address gaps via talent development and/or incremental talent acquisition.
  • Stay informed of technology and industry trends in analytics and AI/ML and be a key contributor to the strategic planning process.
  • Possesses exceptional business acumen; identifies and understands business problems from strategy through operational impacts.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience building enterprise grade software capabilities combining commercial and homegrown software.
  • 5+ years’ experience in advanced analytics domain including cloud based AI/ML and data analytics platforms and self-service tools.
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated application of all facets of systems development lifecycle and technology operations.
  • Collaboratively and objectively assesses benefits, costs, and viability of proposed solution options and drives alignment across a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Leadership in the utilization of user-centric design concepts in conjunction with agile prototyping, development, and testing to deploy highly engaging technology solutions to the end user.
  • Ability to influence leadership is essential to success in this role as are versatility and being able to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience building and mentoring high performance teams, through constructive feedback, and continuous learning and growth opportunities.
  • Working knowledge of Agile SCRUM solution design/development methodology and practices.
  • Ability to leverage business knowledge, sound judgment, and resourcefulness to determine appropriate course of action in challenging, ambiguous situations.
