Role: Experienced Domestic Care Assistant and Personal Care Worker
Location: Leeton and Narrandera region
Rate: $28.01p/h - $31.38p/h + Super + $0.92 per KM + paid travel time
Shift: Day - Monday to Friday
Contract: Part-Time and Casual
Your New Role
Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.
Please Note: This is not a position within a Residential Aged Care facility.
What does your new role look like?
- Providing support to clients with domestic assistance duties such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Experienced Care Workers assist customers with assisted daily living tasks such as; showering, dressing, medication management, assisting with mobility and therapy goals (You will require a minimum Certificate III in Individual Support/Disability/ Community Services or completed 1 year of a Nursing Degree)
- Social support, transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings
- Building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with clients and their families
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe
- Reporting any issues or changes in the customer's health and wellbeing through the appropriate channels and protocols
About You
- Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday (daytime hours only)
- A current Australian Driver's Licence and ownership of a reliable, well presented, comprehensively insured vehicle
- All Australian Unity employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
