Boeing Engineering Center is seeking Manufacturing Planners to join our ME Liaison team in Kyiv, Ukraine.

This is a shift work support included possibility to support night shifts (50% of time approx.)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.

  • Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines.

  • Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.

  • Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans.

  • Investigates technical problems.

  • Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.

  • Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.

  • Works with Non-Conformance Records (NCR), Corrective Action Requests (CAR), Shipside Action Tracker (SAT).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

  • 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

  • English level - intermediate and higher.

  • Ukrainian level - fluent.

  • Existing rights to work in Ukraine.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification.

  • 3 or more years’ experience with 737/777/787 aerospace build plan knowledge, experience with entire value stream of detail part to assembly integration value stream.

  • 737/777/787 assembly and integration structural knowledge (joins, side of body, wings) from factories Boeing and partner sites.

  • Knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems.

  • Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.

  • Willing to work flexible hours as needed to work with partners in different time zones.

  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Be flexible & adaptable in a demanding production environment.

  • Be able to interact positively with people and experience working within cross functional teams.

  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations.

  • Knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation.

  • Familiar with NCR, CAR, SAT processes and procedures.
