Boeing Engineering Center is seeking Manufacturing Planners to join our ME Liaison team in Kyiv, Ukraine.
This is a shift work support included possibility to support night shifts (50% of time approx.)
Primary Responsibilities:
Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans.
Investigates technical problems.
Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.
Works with Non-Conformance Records (NCR), Corrective Action Requests (CAR), Shipside Action Tracker (SAT).
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
English level - intermediate and higher.
Ukrainian level - fluent.
Existing rights to work in Ukraine.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification.
3 or more years’ experience with 737/777/787 aerospace build plan knowledge, experience with entire value stream of detail part to assembly integration value stream.
737/777/787 assembly and integration structural knowledge (joins, side of body, wings) from factories Boeing and partner sites.
Knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems.
Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.
Willing to work flexible hours as needed to work with partners in different time zones.
Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
Be flexible & adaptable in a demanding production environment.
Be able to interact positively with people and experience working within cross functional teams.
Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations.
Knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation.
Familiar with NCR, CAR, SAT processes and procedures.
