THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you looking for a new opportunity to make the next step in your career within the Pharmaceutical Industry? Then join our very enthusiastic and energetic team as our new Planning & Reliability Manager in our production site in Koropi!

In this role, you will drive the maintenance strategy & planning as well as reliability performance of technical equipment. Furthermore, you will be leading the engineering planning activities including end-to-end accountability of relevant processes.

The work location is our plant in Koropi and you will report directly to the local Head of Engineering.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead the systematic equipment maintenance program and monitor existing reliability programs, historical trends and KPIs; design, monitor and implement maintenance metrics
  • Plan, co-ordinate and monitor all mid- and long-term scheduled maintenance activities including the relevant processes collaborating with peers in engineering team
  • Lead the optimization of interventions to fit the plant shutdown calendar. Coordinate and align Stakeholders for the maintenance planning optimization as well as external service providers and contractors prior to maintenance execution
  • Be responsible for the optimum resource usage and for escalating when conflicts arise
  • Drive Talent Management - Active and updated Succession and Development Plans
  • Actively participate in Global Engineering networks to exchange best practices on reliability maintenance
  • Interface with peers in Engineering team as well as Production & Packaging, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations Development, EHS teams.

What you should bring to the team:

  • University degree in Engineering, Science, or similar field
  • Minimum three years of experience in an industry environment preferably in pharmaceutical and alternatively, in process industry
  • Experience of at least two years in managing people and/or projects
  • Able to work with SAP; knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset
  • Customer service mindset, decision making & planning, ability to work effectively in cross-functional environment
  • Excellent organizational skills: able to keep up with timelines and a sense of urgency
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
