We have a fantastic Job opportunity available at The Sidings Tearoom.
This is a weekend position for one weekend day with the opportunity for overtime in the school holidays and to cover staff holidays. Flexibility is required. No experience necessary, training will be provided.
Job responsibilities include -
- Serving customers in a polite and friendly manner.
- Operating the till and taking payment using an EPOS system.
- Hot drink preparation using a barista coffee machine.
- Keeping the tea room clean and tidy at all times, ensuring tables are kept clean and washing up is taken to the kitchen.
- Washing up.
- Waitressing.
- hot/cold food preparation.
- Completing daily/weekly/monthly cleaning tasks.
Applicant requirements -
-ability to use own initiative is a must.
- applicant should be able to work as part of a team and individually.
- must be prepared to work in a very fast paced environment under pressure.
-food hygiene level 2 is required. Training will be provided once you are employed.
- there will be a strong customer focus within this role and high levels of customer service and good manners are essential.
- applicant should be friendly, confident, approachable and well presented. Good communication is a must.
- 6 hour a week minimum contract. One weekend day 10am to 4pm. Overtime is optional. Minimum wage plus holiday pay.
