Our office is located in the heart of Amsterdam. You can find us right in between the beautiful canals and the vibrant streets of De Pijp, with its many lunch spots and the city’s biggest open market. At Beerwulf, we’ve traded the boardroom for a bar and enjoy being around people that are serious about beer—all without taking ourselves too seriously.

We're now looking for a hands-on, service driven Office Manager for the Beerwulf team. This is the most varied job you can have, we promise a job without a dull moment. For us, this is a critical position, as there's always something going on and we love parties and drinks. You will be our rock, tower of strength, problem solver, ultimate fixer, shoulder to cry on and jack of all trades. Because of you, everyone else can focus on what they do best. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL FOCUS ON

Your key responsibilities:

  • Hospitality is your middle name. You're the first face people see when they come to visit us, and you make sure they feel very welcome and know where they need to go.
  • You organize the mail, make sure it is distributed correctly and all that all the packages are received & organized.
  • You're a fixer, there's nothing that is broken that you can't fix. You are the main point of contact for anything that breaks down around the office or can be improved (or rather: organize that is gets fixed by chasing our landlord & handymans). You're the single point of contact for all building maintenance, catering services, electricity and wifi.
  • You walk around the office, and make sure that our 'home' is organized & presentable, but also productive & fun. You don't mind to get your hands dirty: you make sure various things get picked up and trash is where it should be. Of course, there is a cleaning team working in the office everyday for the heavy lifting, but you'd responsible for the bar and pantries on the different floors.
  • You make sure we have all the office supplies organized, and handle employees requests.
  • Helping out on organizing the bigger meetings, and making sure everyone that needs to be there is there!
  • You'd be a mini-travel agency, and book flights and hotels for the MT.
  • You love organizing and coordinating team events, drinks & parties, because we have lots of them. You will be Head of Thursday (and Tuesday, Wednesday) Drinks, so you make sure our bar is very welcoming and the fridge is always stocked with beers. You are what we call the 'beer fairy'.
  • You are the first person to welcome new joiners and you will be organizing welcome packages for the team.

THE THINGS YOU BRING TO BEERWULF AS AN OFFICE MANAGER

  • At MBO-level, preferably in office management.
  • Available for 32 hours a week, flexible office hours (e.g. around school times). The position is also for max 32 hours a week!
  • Fluent in English but more is a definite bonus
  • An organizer, a master in getting things done.
  • A self-starter, pro-active and solution focused, you know where your help is needed before we even ask you to.
  • Service orientated, and like to help people, but assertive enough to ensure people do their own chores.
  • Are social, a strong team player, cheerful and bring a lot of humor; your presence will create a positive vibe in the company.
  • Hands on, don't mind to get your hands dirty.
  • Please note you must be eligible to work in the EU.
