Our product development team is looking for a Mechatronics Engineer.
You’ll be working on foundational development with a focus on researching and testing for new AGV’s, features and components. You have knowledge on the latest technologies and methodological product development drives you in your daily work. As a mechatronics engineer you’re also responsible for stakeholder interaction, planning and backlog refinement for the ongoing development.

Tasks and Qualifications:
As an R&D Mechatronics Engineer you are responsible for:
- Understanding customer requirements, challenge and solve them for our series produced AGV’s
- Divergent ideation and convergent concept selection through verification and trade-offs
- The hardware design of products and modules integrated with the software solution
- Planning and refining the development in the project
- Stakeholder and peer reviews, adapting planning and development based on multidisciplinary feedback
- Working with colleagues internationally
Does this match your skillset?
- Master or Bachelor with relevant experience (electrical, electronics, mechanical, product development or similar)
- Maker with a hardware and controls focus
- Hands-on mindset, able to make prototypes work
- Proficient in one or more software packages like Siemens NX, Solidworks, Eplan and E3
- A knack for following the latest technology, materials, components, network/bus systems, IoT,…
- Software development knowledge is a plus (C/C++/STL)
- Experience in simulations and simulation tools is a plus (Altair, Amesim, Wolfram,…)
- AGV experience and functional safety knowledge is a plus
