- Assess, diagnose, and treat babies, children and adults who have various levels of psychological problems, including people with distress and symptoms of various psychological disorders.
- To provide a wide range of psychological services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and special need populations.
- To focus on alleviating distress and symptoms of psychological disorders, by improving their coping skills and functioning, and promoting healthy lifestyles.
- To provide individual therapies such as behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive approaches, dietetical behavior therapy, exposure-response prevention therapies, and clinical hypnosis to different mental health problems and illness.
- To administer standardized psychodiagnostic tools (test for Intelligence tests/ learning disability screening/cognitive function/personality/rating scale assessments) for evaluating emotional or behavioral disorders among children, adolescence and adults.
- To provide services (psychological) to special needs children and caregivers.
- To provide inpatient and outpatient liaison service for the patients due to other serious injury or physical illness, to associate positively with all cross-referrals from different specialties.
- To offer evidence-based psychological intervention for dysfunctional families, couples (family therapy and marital therapy) and to provide stress reduction programs for issues relating to a different range of mental health conditions.
- To carry out applied research, adding to the evidence-based of practice in the hospital.
- To conduct community-level training programs for schools, and organizations for spreading public awareness related to the importance of keeping mental health with physical health.
- Maintaining client records including a management plan, assessment protocol, psychological reports, and follow up progress notes.
- To provide in-house mental health awareness programs for medical/paramedical/allied health/ and other staffs in the hospital
- Bachelor Degree of Clinical Psychology.
- For Bachelor Degree three years of clinical experience.
- For Master Degree one year of clinical experience.
- To have good communication skills with good command in writing and speaking.
- Show excellent knowledge in maintaining client records.
- To have good knowledge in psychological assessment and doing psychotherapy for mental health problems.
- To have skill in using up to date standardized psychological test in different mental health conditions.
- To keep confidentiality of each patient.
- Up to date of the latest Assessment & Treatment methodology.
- Basic computer skills
- Valid MOH license/DHA or DOH license
