We are looking for an additional colleague to join us as a Business Controller within the Health & Medical (HM) Business Unit.
HM encompasses the Incontinence Products, Health Care and Medical Solutions categories. The portfolio includes incontinence products, wound care, compression therapy, orthopedics, skincare products and digital solutions with sensor technology. Distribution channels for the products are pharmacies, medical devices stores, hospitals, distributors and care institutions as well as online.

About the role
In this role you will work in a small (but mighty) team with a main focus on reporting and consolidation, but also with financial planning and follow-up, and support the management of the Business Unit Health & Medical with ad hoc reports and analysis.
You will also have a lot of contact with the business regions, making sure to build up relationships and understand their business and their challenges.
The role can be based in Gothenburg, Hamburg or Munich, and will report to the Controlling Director, based in Gothenburg.
Examples of tasks
Follow up - Support deviation and target analysis to secure accurate and transparent understanding of costs for the BU.
Financial planning - Take an active part in the financial planning process including forecast and budget.
Responsible for driving and maintaining good system set-up that supports accurate and transparent analysis and understanding of BU costs.
Responsible for providing diverse stakeholders with reports and analysis.
Responsible for providing advice to the stakeholders.
Act as business partner for Region and Business Unit Controlling, including preparation support for Business Reviews and other important meetings.
Who You Are
We are looking for a Business Controller who has strong collaboration and communication skills. It comes natural for you to create relationships in an efficient way with people on different levels of the organization. Furthermore, you have a keen understanding and interest for the business as well as the financial aspects. You are proactive and self-driven with a high ambition to work with process efficiency and further improvements. You have a structured approach to your work but can also bring out your creative side and challenge status quo. Finally, you have an affinity for figures and systems as well as an analytical approach when drawing conclusions from given information.
You have:
University Degree in Finance/Economics or similar.
We believe you are early in your career with up to 2-4 years’ experience from an accounting/finance/analyst role.
Full professional proficiency in English (reading and writing).
High IT proficiency (esp. company consolidation systems, BW, SAP, MS Office).
Sound financial understanding & good accounting know-how.
High analytical skills, and ability to pay attention to details.
A structured way of working and ability to prioritize.
