Senior Manager - Infrastructure & Technical Security Systems [Saudi Arabia]


 
  • Analyze and understand the security needs of the project and design. This involves identifying potential threats, risks, and vulnerabilities specific to the project and determining the necessary security controls and measures.
  • Design and develop end-to-end security architecture for the Project’s systems and networks, considering current and future threats and vulnerabilities to NEOM specifications and applicable standards . This includes defining security requirements, identifying potential risks, and selecting appropriate security controls and technologies.
  • Responsible for interfacing effectively with multiple internal entities (Works Planning & Engineering, Logistics, Construction and Public Safety) to drive effective physical security solutions to meet NEOM specifications and applicable standards.
  • Responsible for goal setting: defining specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals that align with the organization's strategic objectives. These goals provide a clear focus and direction for individual departments and teams within the organization.

  • Participate in discussions and workshops to ensure that security system and network requirements are effectively understood, integrated, and communicated to all relevant parties.
  • Evaluate and select third-party security vendors and solutions, ensuring they meet the NEOM specifications and applicable standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts effectively.
  • Promote a high-performance working environment embracing NEOM’s values.
  • Provide feedback and support to stakeholders, addressing issues or conflicts in a timely and constructive manner.
  • Collaborate with IT to implement and configure security solutions effectively.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings, status updates, and project reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, such as works planning & enginnering and logistics to ensure the alignment of project design objectives, timelines, and deliverables with the capabilities of the physical security design team.
  • Ensure clear communication, manage expectations, and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise.

Requirements

  • 10 plus years as a technology manager with multinational experience operating in complex business environment and working at a level where he / she is taking responsibility for the coordination of organization level strategic planning activities.

  • Strong commercial experience and knowledge understanding of procurement processes, writing scopes and technical evaluations.

  • Deep understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices, including network security, access control, encryption, authentication, and security protocols.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions for complex systems and networks.

  • Experience with security architecture frameworks.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of emerging security trends, threats, and technologies.

  • A creative and agile approach to workplace challenges.

  • A significant knowledge of security risk management.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
