The Merrion, one of Dublin’s finest luxury hotels, a proud member of the Leading Hotels of the World, and now a certified Great Place to Work, is recruiting for a full time Carpark Attendant to join our professional and friendly Facilities Team - this role is for immediate hire.
Centrally located in Dublin within easy reach of public transport, this role will offer you the opportunity to work in a beautiful hotel where the highest of standards are in place and where you have all the tools you need to do your job. Working alongside an experienced team, you will be offered plenty of training. This is a really rewarding role on a team where you can be assured of a warm welcome!
Days of work will be 5 per week, between Monday and Saturday, with Sundays and one midweek day off per week. Hours of work will be 07:00 - 4.00pm. Rate of pay depends on experience.
This role will require you to:
- Oversee the daily management of the car park and refuse areas which will involve power hosing, sweeping and control of all waste areas ensuring the are maintained and clean.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing suppliers through the car park area.
- Monitor all incoming and outgoing building or works contractors.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to within this very busy space.
- Communicate and operate with the facilities team on large projects.
