Job Description
We are a fast growing, full service real estate firm in Center City Philadelphia, specializing in zoning, land use, real estate development and government relations. We are looking for someone who would specialize in submissions on eCLIPSE, Philadelphia's online filing system. This job would consist of preparation and submission of zoning permit applications, rental license applications, building permit applications, and more (CAL, MEP, property certs) with the guidance of our senior paralegal. This position will also consist of tracking existing permit applications, responding to any comments issued, requesting permit extensions as needed, issuing permits, etc. Our ideal candidate would be highly organized, have a high level of attention to detail, and have an interest / experience in law and real estate.
Essential Job Functions:
- Complete Streets Department applications, and work with L&I to get holds removed on permit applications; chat with eclipse support for any permitting issues
- Preparation and submission of multiple permit/license applications i.e. building permit, zoning permit, rental license, and more utilizing the city of Philadelphia's online permitting system
- Manage status of all active permit applications including, but not limited to, review of expiration dates and request extensions as needed; follow up on outstanding & unresolved examiner comments; issuance of permits, and more
- Monitor eclipse emails and attend to comments issued by examiners, ensure comments are sent to the appropriate party for review and resolution
- Problem solving to work through minor permitting issues and resolution of potential permit holds
- Minor research on L&I website to review guidelines for specific types of applications
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience with eCLIPSE is preferred
- One-two years experience is preferred
- Must be reliable working remotely
- Must have 15-20 hours a week to dedicate to this position
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $30.00 per hour
