In your day-to-day work, you will be dealing with external stakeholders (such as payers, healthcare professionals and various organizations) and internal stakeholders with the aim to build and maintain a strong network and ensure access for patients to innovative care . You create partnerships by engaging them in impactful projects that support their needs.

In April 2023, we created Human Pharma DENOR which is one entity to serve patients in two countries: Denmark and Norway. The open position is an office-based position placed in Asker reporting to the Head of Market Access & Healthcare Affairs DENOR (Denmark & Norway). You will have responsibility for your therapeutic areas in Norway and will belong to an innovative Market Access & Healthcare Affairs team consisting of 10 people covering the two countries with roughly half of us in Norway and half in Denmark who learn from each other and utilize best practices from both countries.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Market Access & Healthcare Affairs (MA & HCA) strategies and tactics for Norway within the assigned Therapeutic Areas (TA)
  • Identify, engage, build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of the MA & HCA strategies for the responsible TA in Norway
  • Identify real world evidence gaps needed for successful reimbursement in Norway and work cross-functionally to generate this evidence
  • Lead reimbursement processes in Norway including early stakeholder engagement, the development of a reimbursement dossier and final negotiations
  • Create and set up innovative and impactful projects that support the needs of the customers and create win-win partnerships that can help improve care pathways
  • Monitor the political and payer environment for changes impacting market access and advise Head of Market Access & Healthcare Affairs on actions to address opportunities and threats
  • Contribute within the MA & HCA team and Brand Team to make optimal business decisions.

What you should bring to the team:

In this role, you will be using your experience to drive Market Access and Healthcare Affairs objectives in win-win collaboration with key external stakeholders and the internal cross-functional team. Ideally you have :

  • 3 years or more of relevant work experience in Market Access (MA) from a leading pharmaceutical company or related consultancy and/or within a government or health technology assessment body
  • Master’s Degree in Health Economics/Economics, Pharmacy Science, Health Science or similar
  • Established network with stakeholders relevant for the payer process
  • Strong ability to comprehend and communicate clinical and economic data
  • Strong negotiation skills and solid understanding of payers’ needs
  • Out of the box thinking with ability to create and offer value adding solutions
  • Excellent oral and written command of Norwegian and English (required)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Structured, excellent prioritization skills and ‘get things done’ work attitude
  • Project management and RWE experience
  • Team player with a positive mindset who enjoys working in a diverse environment and values strong cross-functional relationships.
