As a Junior Marketing Analyst at Caterpillar, you will support the achievement of the annual GCI (General Construction & Industry) Product Marketing team goals for EAME (Europe and Africa/Middle East). You will be responsible to collect, analyze interpret and prepare marketing data and to advise Product Marketing Consultant and other internal partners, such as sales representatives or sales managers of the early findings from this data. The role also requires the ability to structure, manage and maintain marketing databases such that these are instantly available with the latest information, as well as support the Marketing team in the preparation of presentation material for both internal and external audiences.

This is a fixed term contract of 1 year.

Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Managing marketing and sales dashboards as well as design and reporting (data analytics)
• Assisting Sales and Marketing teams with special sales projects,
• Assisting the Sales & Marketing teams with Demand and Supply analysis and planning
• Market research on competition, customer feedback,
• Development of go-to-market actions and competitive selling material,
• Assisting with production studies and competitive testing,
• Assisting with the logistics of major training & promotional events

Required Qualifications:

• Recently graduated from University with a bachelor or master’s degree in: Business, Engineering (Technical/ Mechanical background) with 1 or 2 years of professional experience.
• Fluent in English (min C1), fluent in German would be an asset, and any another European language
• A self-starter, who is able to work independently and to demonstrate a high level of motivation
• Good planning and organizing skills, as well as presentation skills
• Very good PC skills (Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel, PowerBi)
